Student Research Opportunities
Showcase your research, share your ideas, and gain valuable experience and skills by presenting your work at conferences at Newcastle College University Centre and beyond.
Student Research Conference
The Student Research Conference is NCUC's flagship student event which is hosted annually. It is an excellent opportunity for students, from a range of disciplines and levels of study, to present their research, business plans, and more, whilst also developing a range of skills and enhancing their CV.
Posters in Parliament
Posters in Parliament is an annual event that takes place at the heart of UK Government, bringing together undergraduate research from a range of universities. NCUC undergraduate students have the opportunity to showcase their research, gain recognition for their achievements, engage with policymakers, and build valuable connections with fellow researchers and professionals.
For NCUC students involved in this opportunity, travel, accommodation, and participation are all fully funded by NCUC.
British Conference for Undergraduate Research
The BCUR is hosted annually and takes place in a different higher education institution each year. This opportunity allows for students to submit papers, posters, and performances to present at the conference. Additionally, it is a great way to develop key employability skills and network with students from other universities.
For NCUC students involved in this opportunity, travel, accommodation, and participation are all fully funded by NCUC.
